How is COVID-19 vaccination in Brazil?

Vaccination in Brazil began on January 17, 2021 and is free, carried out by the SUS (Sistema Único de Saúde). There are several vaccines being used in the country’s immunization: Astrazeneca/Oxford, Pfizer, Janssen, CoronaVac.

According to records and statistics, more than 65% of the population is completely vaccinated with both doses, or single doses. And more than 75% of the population has been vaccinated with the first dose.

This also leads to a drop in the number of deaths and the number of new cases, which is providing security for the population, and also allowing the realization of exchanges in the country.

In addition to the vaccine, other measures continue, such as the use of a mask, mandatory hand sanitizer distribution, and social distancing.

All people who arrive in Brazil are required to present a Covid test with a negative result, to prevent new cases and variants from being disseminated.

AIESEC in Brazil is very committed to the well-being of people who come to Brazil, that’s why all the guidance and support are offered so that your exchange is safe and for you to develop a lot.

We need your help to impact Brazil!
